The rules were always there. Now everyone knows them.

Nonprofit organizations belong to their members and their communities — not to whoever happens to hold office. This site explains the rules that govern our Legion branch, in plain language, from public documents — and gives you a confidential way to be heard.

Why we care

This site is run by people from this community — families with parents, uncles, siblings, and children who have served, some serving today. The Legion exists to honour service and sacrifice, to remember those who never came home, and to look after the people who did. That mission belongs to all of us, and it is bigger than any individual who happens to hold office. We built this because respect for the people who served includes respect for the institution that carries their memory — and an institution is respected by being run properly: openly, accountably, and by its rules. That is the whole agenda.

There is a second reason. When the branch has asked for support, this community has answered — buying the tickets, filling the halls, and raising extraordinary sums for the causes the Legion serves. Money given by a community is given in trust, and trust is honoured through openness: proper approvals, clear books, and answers when members and supporters ask. Caring about that is not criticism. It is what supporters do.

What you can do here

Five doors. Every one of them confidential.

Join the members' list. Ask a question. Share what you've seen — with your name or without. Drop off a screenshot. Or just say hello.

Ten minutes or ten seconds; every door below is confidential. Nothing is published here, nothing goes to social media, and nothing is ever filed with your name on it unless you approve it first.

If you would rather read the rules before you decide anything, they are all on The Rules — plain language, public sources, no allegations.

Ten minutes. We do the rest.

The Members' List

Add your name to the Members' Accountability List. Under the by-laws, ten percent of the paid-up voting membership can require a Special General Meeting to be called — within two weeks. This list is how members reach that threshold in days, not months. Joining commits you to nothing.
